In an important step to resuming film and television production, the DGA, SAF-AFTRA, IATSE, and Teamsters COVID-19 Committees for Safety Guidelines release “The Safe Way Forward”.

The report attempts to answer the question, “How does one mitigate the risk of people getting sick when they are violating every physical distancing guideline for hours on end, for weeks at a time?” It relies heavily on frequent and rapid coronavirus testing, which could be a serious roadblock for low and micro-budget productions.
